Floyd Country Store Celebrates 100th Anniversary

This year the Floyd Country Store is celebrating its 100th anniversary as an integral part of the community of Floyd, VA. The Store is commemorating this special milestone with 10 days of special events and concerts June 18th - 27th. These activities will celebrate the people, the community, and the rich history that have made the store the thriving place that it is today.

Here is the week-long celebration's schedule of events.

• Friday, June 18: Special Kick-Off Jamboree
• Saturday, June 19: Floyd Town Jubilee, Afternoon Dance Workshop and Evening Old-Time Dance with the Dry Hill Draggers
• Sunday, June 20: Father’s Day Jam, Evening Story-Telling Event
• Monday, June 21: Store Open, Centennial Specials
• Tuesday, June 22: Afternoon Music Workshop and Evening Concert
• Wednesday, June 23: Floyd History Day, Book Signings and Evening Presentation
• Thursday, June 24: Crooked Road Day, Book Signings, Special Evening Jam
• Friday, June 25: ‘Old Friends’ Jamboree
• Saturday, June 26: Americana Music Jam, and Evening Concert with Wayne Henderson & Jeff Little
• Sunday, June 27: Special Sunday Jam
